Salt mine is located in the resort, 10 km from Sovata in Harghita county, is one of the largest salt mines in Europe and in the country. Access is by bus through a long tunnel of 1,500 meters, then descending 300 steep steps. It is a true underground town at 120 meters depth.
Salina Praid este situată în stațiunea Praid, la 10 km de stațiunea Sovata, în județul Harghita, este una dintre cele mai mari mine de sare din Europa și din țară. Accesul în salina se face cu autobuzul printr-un tunel lung de 1.500 de metri, apoi coborând 300 de trepte abrupte. Este un adevărat orășel subteran, la 120 de metri adâncime.
